SKILLS,
INTERESTS, AND CHALLENGES:
Skills: I am a practiced
and conscientious writer, as my attached curriculum vitae attests, and I remain
in high demand for various First Nations newspapers. I am an individual who can
rise to challenges, learn things quickly and can work individually or in a team
________________________________________________________________________
Interests: After overcoming many
hardships, I have dedicated my life and my writing career to
portraying a positive outlook and am deeply committed to being a positive
role model so that youth are witness to the fact that success can be achieved.
I believe that understanding our histories, being able to write about it, and
working together creates a better understanding and brings people together.
Challenges: I am actively engaged in writing for several
newspapers, and maintain a daily blog that focuses on First Nations issues.
However writing is just one aspect of what I can do to create change, I want to
be actively out in the community and that means finding employment that focuses
on challenging every aspect of myself.
