I hear your cry

And feel your pain

I know it comes

From deep down within

And see your slumped shoulders

When you are feeling defeated

By the ghosts that haunt you

I see your tears

Glistening in your eyes

And how you fight

To keep them in

I want to hold you

And pull you close

Wrap you in my arms

And tell you

Everything will be okay

I know the courage

It takes

For you to tell your story

And hope that others are listening
