Threatens to
Erupt within
As my feelings
Boil to the point
Of exploding
As I recall
The tears wept
And the sadness
I experienced
When you left this world
Behind
It feels like
No one really understands
The depth
Of how much I miss you
And how I wish
That you were still here
By my side

The moments
We spent together
Moments of silent understanding
Moments of laughter
And deep talks
A primal scream
Erupts within
Threatening to bring
About the tears
And sadness
I thought
Would have subsided
With time
I miss you as much
As the day
You left this world behind.
